These terms are between you and CAM Software LLC, a Texas limited liability company, doing business as Compiled Designs.

They govern your use of this website — reading it, browsing it, sending us a message through it.

They do not govern our services. If you hire us to build or look after a website, that work is governed by a separate written agreement that we both sign. Where the two differ, the signed agreement wins. Nothing on this website is that agreement, and nothing here creates one.

The prices, timescales and descriptions on this site tell you what we normally do and roughly what it normally costs. They are a starting point for a conversation, not an offer and not a quote.

A price becomes real when we send you a written quote for your specific project. Until then, everything here is subject to what your situation actually turns out to need.

We write about websites, domains, hosting and the things that go wrong with them. It is written in good faith and from experience, but it is general — it is not professional advice about your particular situation, and it may go out of date without us noticing.

We keep this website online and accurate as best we can, but we provide it as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of errors.

To the extent the law allows, CAM Software LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or anything you read on it.

This paragraph is about the website. It is not the limitation of liability in our client agreement, which is a separate and more carefully drawn clause.

The text, design, code and images on this site belong to CAM Software LLC unless stated otherwise. You are welcome to read, quote and link to it. You are not welcome to copy it wholesale as your own.
