Privacy Policy

Effective 6 October 2026

This is short because we collect very little. If something here is unclear, email us and we will explain it in plainer words.

Who we are

This website is operated by CAM Software LLC, a Texas limited liability company, doing business as Compiled Designs.

17350 State Hwy 249, Ste 220 #17381
Houston, TX 77064
hello@compiled-designs.com

What we collect

When you use the contact form we collect the five things you type into it: your name, your email address, your business name, whether you already have a website, and your message.

We store your message together with a few details that let us tell a real enquiry from automated spam and see how you found us: your IP address, your browser and language, the website that sent you here and any campaign tags in that link, the page you first arrived on, the page you sent the form from, and the analytics identifier for your visit.

Our hosting provider automatically records standard server log information — IP address, browser type and timestamps — as part of delivering this site to you.

We also measure which pages you visit and where you arrived from, including when you decline analytics. Accepting lets us recognise repeat visits. See "Cookies and analytics" below for how PostHog and Google Analytics do this.

Who we share it with

Four companies, each doing one job:

  • Supabase stores your contact-form message in our database.
  • Vercel hosts this website and produces the server logs described above.
  • PostHog records page visits, but only in the way described in the next section.
  • Google measures how the site is used through Google Analytics, in the way described in the next section.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else.

Cookies and analytics

By default this site stores nothing on your device. No cookies, no local storage.

We use PostHog to count page visits so we can tell which pages help people and which do not. Unless you accept, that measurement is memory-only: we count the visit but we do not recognise you if you come back. If you accept, PostHog stores a small identifier on your device so repeat visits can be counted as the same person.

We also use Google Analytics to measure how the site is used in aggregate, such as which pages are visited and how people arrived. Unless you accept, it runs without cookies. If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga) on your device so repeat visits can be counted. Google handles that data under the Google Privacy Policy.

You can decline, and the site works identically. You can change your mind at any time with the Analytics choice link in the footer.

Why we collect it

To reply to you, to keep automated spam out, and to understand which pages and links bring people to us.

We do not add you to a mailing list. We do not have a mailing list.

Do Not Track

We do not track you across other websites, so there is nothing for a Do Not Track signal to switch off. If your browser sends one, our analytics treats it as a decline.

Third-party tracking

No third party collects information about your activity on other websites through this site. We run no advertising pixels, no social trackers and no data brokers.

Seeing or deleting what we hold

Email us and we will tell you what we have and delete it if you ask. In practice this is almost always a single contact-form record.

How long we keep it

Contact-form messages stay in our database so we have a record of the conversation. If you ask us to delete yours, we will.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change something material, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and describe what changed. We will not quietly rewrite it.

6 October 2026: clarified that page visits are measured even when analytics is declined, while accepting enables recognition of repeat visits. This clarification does not change how analytics works.

1 October 2026: added Google Analytics, described above under "Who we share it with" and "Cookies and analytics".
